    Our ultimate mission is to conserve our natural habitat for future generations as our diverse cultural heritage and this guides everything that we do. 

    Sustainability is not an option but a necessity today and we have been taking significant steps towards sustainability goals while making efforts to balance rapid economic growth with conservation, ecology, and environmental sustainability.

    Environment 

    • Only harvested rainwater is used at the property.
    • The cleaning products used at the property are 100% organic & we use sustainable toiletries
    • To eliminate single-use plastic, all rooms have RO water bottles, also we encourage reusing linens and towels to reduce waste.
    • We use energy-efficient lighting throughout the property.

    Community Engagement & Employment
    • 100% of the staff at Surya Bagh is from the local community who have been personally trained by the owners. 
    • All ingredients used at the restaurant are sourced from our in house kitchen garden & nearby local farms.
    • We are dedicated to community support, hiring locally, paying fair wages, and training staff in cultural heritage and sustainable practices.
